In development: The Martel+Ram 002 Loafer | Blog | Martel+Ram

For our launch in January 2019 we introduced the Martel+Ram 001 derby. A classic Derby was the first Martel+Ram design because we know this tried and true pattern would adapt to every season, wardrobe and occasion. It is the benchmark from which we would develop the Martel+Ram range.

Apart from a classic Derby, our next favourite shoe to wear is a good Loafer. A penny Loafer to be precise. It's cool, classic, preppy, mod and trendy all at the same time. It's all about proportions, a good last shape and a lightweight and flexible construction. We're currently still in prototype stage, but we think we've got a new favourite in the making.

The illustration here is just a starting point. We are developing a new lightweight expanded rubber sole design that will give this shoe its life and outstanding comfort. This is the shoe we want for our commute this summer!
